The Wrong Missy

The Wrong Missy begins with a blind date gone wrong between Melissa (Lauren Lapkus) and Tim (David Spade). Tim is a plain guy while Missy is all over the place. Tim flees the date hoping to never see her again. Tim meets another Melissa at the airport. The two of them have a lot in common and Tim invites her to a corporate retreat.


Tim invites the wrong Missy who uses every opportunity to embarrass Tim. She steals every single scene and does the most throughout the whole movie. Tim is too boring to make this movie into something more. Spade doesn't balance out Lapkus's timing. The comedy is bland.

​The plot goes through a predictable path. Missy eventually does good and wins Tim over.
