Netflix’s Murder Mystery is the reunification of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston after the 2011 comedy Just Go With It. The film follows the New York working-class couple celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary. They find themselves as guests aboard a billionaire's yacht bound for a scenic trip around the Mediterranean and multiple homicides.

There is an ease of relaxation between Aniston and Sandler in these roles. They are both amazing actors and manage to have good chemistry and can easily play off one another in comedies. The film starts out a little slow but as the plot moves and thickens the duo showcase their acting abilities in this mystery comedy.

Sandler and Aniston’s marriage contains dishonesty mostly on Sandler’s part. He tries to portray himself as a strong male, but on all actuality, he needs Jennifer to make him complete and come full circle of life in his aspiration to be a detective. He disappoints his wife on the exciting married life by eluding to the dull drum of 15 years of marriage. To prove her wrong, he pretends to have booked a fabulous European trip only to show his shortcoming with the airline seats. Coach.... charges for every item. He falls asleep, Jennifer wanders and finds herself in first-class among very rich European gentlemen. They bond over cocktails, Adam happens upon them and before you know it, their tour bus vacation turns into a personal invite on a yacht sailing the Mediterranean with the rich and famous.

Then a murder, two, three, and they become the number one suspects. A lot of funny chasing, arguing, mishaps and missteps. But in the end, the good guys overcome the battle as they fly through European streets in a hot sports car, Jennifer driving, Adam gaining a new found respect for her, with the sounds of AC/DC Shoot to Thrill blaring in the chase scene. Worth watching more than once. A happy walk away movie that leaves you smiling from ear to ear, and the final scene as they travel on the orient express train... is there a murder on a train in their future.....
